Environmental Promotion Reflection

1. Summarize your project.
- My project was about trying to make a difference in our community by cleaning up the beaches on the island and repairng the trails that have been ruined or inaccessoble due to the debris from typhoon soudelor and the overgrowth of the surrounding plants.

2. Do you believe your project was a success? Did you make a difference in the lives of your intended audience? Explain.
- I believe that the project was somewhat successful. I feel like we made a difference in some lives but not what we had hoped for.

3. If you were to do this again next year or in the summer, what would you do differently? Why? What would you do the same? Why?
- If i were to do this again, I would plan the events,  gather the materials, and start recruiting mich earlier than what I did this year. I feel this way mainly because we had some trouble with getting the equipment especially transportation. We also had trouble gwtting the word out about what our next event would be and very little people showed up for the event because of this. The only thing O would do the same would be choosing the group that I am in. This is because we get along fairly well.

4. Think of your intended audience, what can you continue to do as you continue your life journey to help these people?
- I feel like I might need to continue helping the island by creating awareness of the situation that is harming our island and addressing the consequences that will affect our island if nothing is done. I also feel like discussing the different ways that evryone could do to help our island.

Environmental Promotion Week 7

What have you accomplished?

- We have accomplished talking about and making plans for our ted talk. We have come up with ideas on how our ted talk should go.

What has gone wrong?

-In my opinion, there were a few minor disagreements about how our ted talk should start off and who would be discussing what for our presentation.

What challenges have you faced?

-The challenges that we have faced mainly appeared when planning out the ted talk and doing the research on how it should be done and who would talk about what.

What have you learned through the process?

-We have leaned different ways of creating ted talks and planning them out. We have also learned about the different ways to help memorize our topics for the ted talk and a good way to help solve disagreements.

How have your skills improved over the past week?

-My skills in creating something like a ted talk have improved. Overall, I feel like we might be ready to give an amateur if not decent ted talk.

Are you on track for an on-time delivery?

-I feel like we are not on track with the scheduled time line and need to make many changes or adjustments. Most is mainly getting with the rest of the group and start rehearsing for the ted talk.

What adjustments need to be made on the timeline?

-I feel like we need to quickly but carefully create, plan, and practice or rehearse for our ted talk as soon as possible.

My next action is….

-My next action is to continue communicating with my group and discussing and making improvements to our ted talk. And helping Y.E.A. to plan the last beach clean up of the year.
